Kwame Darko, a Washington D.C. native, and former University of Maryland soccer player, chose music over a potential professional career. After being selected to appear on producer and former Def Jam intern Alex Kresovich's album The Crowned Prince, several doors opened. His first official Tangerine Tinted Sunglasses, also gained very positive reviews. Urban PrepThe Mixtape is his first major project. Doing his take on popular songs such as "Speakers Going Hammer", "Power", and "Beamer Benz or Bentley", Kwame does his thing and lets his lyrics do the talking.
